A-Wing pilot and girlfriend WIP

Here are the pencils for the requested pic of an A-wing pilot and his mechanic girlfriend. Let me know what you think.

UPDATE 1:

I haven't been aroud for a while, As I said, I've been busy working on other projects trying to drum up some paid work. Here are the inks for this piece. Let me know what you think.

UPDATE 2: Once again, it's been a "while". Been busy with other projects. Here are the colors without background. Let me know what you think.

UPDATE 3:

Background is now added. I decided on a relatively simple and Spartan background for this piece. It's just a tiled floor and wall (as in a hanger) with the NJO symbol on the back wall.

Wow! It's looking great so far! I was wondering what approach you were going to take (my characters' wearing military uniforms vs. wearing civvies, but I like it a lot!

Thanks guys, I've been busy with some non-SW pieces, including some Transformers: Mosaic pieces and some line-art competitions. I'm trying to get some more exposure that might hopefully lead to paid illustration and cartooning work.

My request is taking shape quite nicely! I'm looking forward to see the finished product! By the way, I have an idea I've been toying around with in my head. I've been contributing to a wiki for Star Wars Club, namely the Blue Squadron page, and I was interested in getting artwork made for our respective characters. I love writing, but I'm a terrible artist. Before I put a request up on the SWAG forums, would you be interested in creating it?

There are three other active player characters in the squadron. One is a Wroonian female, another is a Human male (Russian-esque description, probably the most interesting of our bunch actually), and the last PC is a human male from Tatooine, a former slave. The character roster is close to the bottom, with each active character highlighted in blue to link them to their pages.

Outstanding job! I'm impressed with how it turned out. It was enough to see my characters' drawn out, but I thank you for taking the time to do each of them justice.
