Bullet Time...
Well, thats the project codename working title... I did this recently for a good friend of mine Jay "johnnyputrid" Main, for a project he's been working on, soon to be released as a ... I'd better say no more. Just be on the lookout for a fanbook in the near future in the d20 section of the SWRPGNetwork Holonet forums!
Since I can't talk about the project details, I can talk a bit about this image.
Theres something about a sunset that I like. Maybe its the orangey-hue that color tints everything in sight.
Side By Side Lightsabers
A side by side look at the lightsabers of Darth Drakhen and Darth Lau'Ren from the Great Sith Empire. Side by side in life and in death, Lady Lau'Ren was the lover and later wife of Lord Drakhen, during the Golden Age of the Sith.
They were presumably killed during the battle of Andar during the Sith Civil War.
Sith Fangpipe
During the Golden age, nobility often imbibed the Tabacc plant through pipes or Chibouks. Ornately carved and hand crafted, few of these pieces have survived the millenia. This particular example was the property of Arcturus Black, who could often be seen indulging in order to ease his mind. The Sith Civil war put an end to such idealistic customs.
"Geonosian" Lightsaber Design

This is a sketch of a lightsaber with Geonosian design elements. The emitter prongs in particular resemble the vains around the emitter cowl of a Geonosian sonic blaster.

A deckplan for the Sentinel-class Landing Craft (in stock configuration). This deckplan is an original work, derived from the schematics in the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels. This is the only known 'official' source of orthographic (Top, Front, Left) drawings of the Sentinel.

I wanned to show that all BH's dont wear Mandalorian armour or even having any kind of full bodysuit armour, just a hightech harnesk and a few but sweet nifty weapons and a great mind is all you need for a successful hunt.
And belive me Tweedo is a hunter you dont want on your tail!
Modified YT-1300
This is a Modified YT-1300 based on various blueprint designs that are floating around out there. I don't normally do vehicle designs so this was kind of an interesting experiment.
"He'll Live"
The nice thing about being a doctor is that you know just how much a body can take before expiring, which allows you to use the maximum level of damage and still collect the reward for live captives. This Alderaan native turned to bounty hunting after her homeworld was destroyed, employing her knowledge of medicine in new and unorthodox ways. She sports a jumpsuit ideal for her new profession (though will cover this with a coat when in a medbay) is now rarely seen without her A-280 rifle or a pistol at her hip.

Tyr N'Darr Lightsaber Plaque Print
I figured it would be neat to take Tim's blueprint I worked on and put it into the same format and frame you find the official Master Replicas prints in. I remade the frame in photoshop and added my customized it with my print and made it look as authentic as possible, right down to the tiny metal plaque with Tyr N'Darr's lightsaber written in it.

When one of my players wanted his character to have a "hoverboard" like those seen in Back to the Future II, I came up with the following sketches for him to pick from. He opted for the Mobquet Sky Carver.

Vong on Ice
A comment by Kris 'Eclipse' Vanderwater on the boards got me thinking about the Yuuzan Vong. I've never really read any post-RotJ stuff, but I know about the Vong from all the websites and such.
Somehow I've always associated them with ice or diamonds rather than fire or blood. Hard, cold and utterly cruel in their distance.

The Peacemaker
This is the lightsaber hilt of Tim, the Bith Jedi Padawan. My friend Greg has a sword hilt that looks very similar (ok almost identical) to 'The Peacemaker.' He wanted his Star Wars RPG character's (Tim)lightsaber hilt to look just like the sword hilt; so, I modelled the hilt in Milkshape3d and added it to my Alaris hilt pack for Jedi Academy.
The hilt in Tim picture is actually this 3D model.

ORN-E5H11 Sniper Droid
Originally commissioned by Hutt-related interests at the height of the galaxy's underworld feuds, the ORN-E5H11 Ultra Long Range Sniper Droid combines the sheer range of an artillery piece and the high one-shot/one-kill accuracy of a sentient sniper. It is a specialised assasination tool designed to deliver icy death to a single target from miles away -- as well as a hefty serving of that dramatic sense of doom that instantly saps the enemy's morale like a kick to the crotch.
Seeing how this can be a great addition to one's bargaining repertoire, a certain unamable but highly placed dark cabal once decided to take the idea to a whole new level...

Part of the original request was for the droid to have weapon holders in the torso region. I thought it would be nice to have those in the leg/calf areas for easier access, so I had that in mind when I did this. I also thought he'd look deadlier with two sets of optical sensors, one for each pair of arms.

Overseer Kalis of the Xen'Chi
The weapon depicted might also be referred to as a 'gafi stick' in certain parts of the galaxy, particularly the Outer Rim. It is a formidable weapon -- especially when wielded by Overseer Kalis (also shown in picture). ;-)

(Notes: I wanted a strong, heroically proportioned figure for this, but one that was still 'womanly' in a classic sort of way. I imagined she'll need that layer of fat to power those muscles, and I also wanted to suggest some fullness of age since she's already an 'overseer'. Worked in the red splatter things in the background to suggest her volcanic homeworld. Had to be very careful with the tattoos as I didn't want them to drown the figure itself. There's some vague attempt at compositional niceties going on with the whole picture as well. Enjoyed all this immensely.

Sayda Eol, Bounty Hunter
From the character write up from Sayda, who requested the picture:
'A common enough story in the galaxy, Sayda was abducted at an early age, and was sent to work as a dancer for a crimelord. It wasn't until her master was killed in a Huttish coup that she escaped. For years she did odd jobs around the galaxy...
Now she has 'settled down' and started taking herself seriously – as a bounty hunter. No matter what she does in life however, she keeps a cheery outlook, to hide the residual pain... fears attachment, but has a deep need for to be around people... able to acquire contacts easily, and people migrate to her presence, which makes it easier for her to use their abilities for her own purposes... '
I thought the character was very interesting and had a well thought-out background so I very much wanted to avoid a 'pin-up' approach.
I finally contributed to the Twi'lek galleries. Yay!

(Second date with Painter and I had fun with it -- but I can't help thinking now though that I might want to go back in there and try to fix some things, -- but maybe in the future. I'm happy with it as is for now.)
