The Viith Five

At the request of my GM, and oh man I seem to have finished just in time for this week's session! He has a grand way of creating strangely... familiar scenarios to give us a bit of OOC entertainment and levity during otherwise super tense and dramatic IC situations. In the past, it's been things like encountering Count Traak Oola (who doesn't drink... wine), and the epic that was Han-diana Jones and the Last Raiders of the Kingdom of the Flying-Space-Ziggurat of Doom.

GET SOME GLUG! [Request]

...Okay sooooo, I might have just gotten super excited by the idea of attempting to do a cheesy-grin over the top poster? I was intending to do this request sort of on the sly and keep it open for anyone else who wanted to take a crack at it (ie, anyone more accomplished than me at recreating devilishly handsome male humanoid specimens) but I'm pleased enough with what I've come up with to upload it.

Star Wars GM Screen: Pencil

It's taken me two weeks to get this pencil to the state it is in now and I am quite pleased with this. Meant to be a four panel GM screen 11x34 inches horizontal. I plan to sell prints once I am done.

Showing a scene in a hallway of some rebel operatives facing off against to me Imperials and a force user caught int he middle. Will he/she choose to join the rebellion, or lend their powers to the dark side? Who are the good guys? The down trodden who rebel against an unjust dictator....or the law enforcing troopers who signed up to defend the galaxy from anarchists?

Behind Imperial Lines

Actually, this is my first effort at fan art? Very traditional approach, oils on panel. The image itself is sharp, but the photographic effect of trying to shoot a picture of a wet oil painting causes a certain "fluorescing", that is visible as a fuzziness and soft fuzzy spots. I entered it in an SOE Fan-Art contest... and got 2nd place. The experience convinced me it was time to learn some photoshop skills...

Sparks Logo

Here is the Sparks logo I did for my gaming group.

There were numerous thumbnails for this idea, but once we picked one I started the final. The piece was done in Acrylic Wash, Watercolor, Ink, Colored Pencil, and Digital. My friend David helped me out a little bit with the digital process (I am still like a virgin when it come to that) and laying in the type.

Well, thats the project codename working title... I did this recently for a good friend of mine Jay "johnnyputrid" Main, for a project he's been working on, soon to be released as a ... Since I can't talk about the project details, I can talk a bit about this image.

Theres something about a sunset that I like. Maybe its the orangey-hue that color tints everything in sight.
