"a picture of Ka'rta in a split panel picture. The top panel would have Ka'rta in her Mandalorian Armor with lots of dings, dirt, and sweaty. The bottom panel would have her dressed really really good. A dress split way up the thigh with a intricate design on it. I don't know a lot about womens clothing so I will that up to you as to how it would look. Elegant but sexy like she is attending some event or function on Coruscant or after an upscale bounty. Something that would blow Nath's boots off but keep it in the PG/PG-13 range. lol.

So, yeah, it's been a bit longer than I would have liked, but here's another "in-progress" for the shockboxer. Color flats with a little bit of shading work. I ended up making his head a little bigger since he was looking just a bit ridiculous, but like where it's at now, even if it is a little exaggerated (or a lot).

First update on the boxer. I'm doubting that the original requester is still around to get feedback from, but hey, you never know.

So, during our last game session our current GM scribbled a quick and humorous droid chef on the whiteboard that we had way too much fun with, and eventually brought with us (stole).

I snapped a cellphone pic of the whiteboard with his doodle on it, and plan on surprising him with a pic of the little guy.

This is my first pass on it. I'll be adding more details/shading/etc before wrapping it up.

Male Zabrak character. He's a recon/scout/sniper, so I figured positioning him in sniper-mode would be coolest. Any comments or suggestions?
2nd stage: finished his skin tones. I'll be working on his facial markings as well as his bicep tattoo. I'm still trying to figure out a background....

I appreciate the comments. I chose to go with a different take for the facial markings. I went for something a little more familiar. I had a ton of fun with this character and I look forward to more from all the awesome character creators!

I finally have time to part the clouds and impart a "first draft" for perusal and approval.

OK, at long last I have cobbled together ONE rough out of several design bits-n'-pieces sketches of T4-K2!!

Even though this is still just a rough sketch [and I'm pretty sure it has some serious proportional issues to work out], I gotta get a WIP blog going on this guy. As requested, I have looked at HK-47 as well as the MagnaGuard designs for inspiration.I think ultimately the only similarity to either is the central torso area, which has elements of both droids in it.

"Ka'rta is squatted down in front of Nath with her blasters pointed to the left and right corners of the pic. Nath is standing behind her with a discblade in one hand and his lightsaber in the other. The discblade it is blunt to keep with Nath's non-kill policy, unless it is absolutely nescessary. Nath also has Mandalorian chest armor that is an earth tone brown to contrast with his shirt that is tan.

As most of you know, I've been hacking away at an "Invasion"-era fan comic. I've been having a difficult time drawing Luxum just right - her angles and perspective keep throwing me. So I decided to make a maquette model of her I can use as reference...because, you know, I'm thorough like that. That, and I really wanted to have a 12" model of her in my room. Ha!

Anyway, I'm including the original design I came up with, in addition to the model. I'll post more photos as the piece progresses. Hope y'all enjoy!

Reprisal of an old picture (blog here), Sasha is now a teenager and has been sent back in time...

I'll load two pics up - one shows the etchings I want to have on her wetsuit. These mimic the various Polynesian traditional tattoos, especially Tongan and the Samoan Malu (women's thigh thigh tattoos). Since surfing originated in the Pacific I thought this would be a nice, but subtle, nod.
The other pic is with the etching removed so you can see what her stance is without them.

This will eventually have more characters crammed in it. So far there's Asok, Drig, Nibs the SWAG monkey and Casca lurking in the back. I've rough-sketched Judas, Tusserk and Mercy. If you want to be in this picture, SPEAK UP and I will mash you in somewhere!

Genetically enhanced to be a super soldier from even before she was born, she is one step removed from madness. So her family, which is a lot of people now INCLUDING my Bladeborn, are trying very hard to keep her sane now.

Her armor is standard Mandalorian armor at that point, it is a dark grey. Any color that seems like that would work. Her black hair is cut short to fit better under a helmet, not military style short, but not down to her neck.

It will be the 25th issue of the Nath Tarncrest comic. The emotion on their faces must reflect the love but pain in their relationship. The background must match their internal struggle. Darker shade on Ka'rta's side and lightens up as it crosses over to Nath's side of the panel. "
