Thanks to the magic of MySpace, I've recently tracked down an old friend of mine, by the name of Jason Keith.

I don't have anything to put up alongside this post at the moment. Maybe later tonight. I had a chance to work on "The Escape" some more. It's been a few weeks, but I needed to take a step back. My process on this one is totally broken, and I feel like I've worked myself into a corner. I should have thought farther ahead about HOW I was going to really put it all together.

When I came across Lord Crumb's request for a "Mourning Jedi Master", I immediately thought of a concept I had about five or six years ago, of a Twi'Lek Jedi holding a dead padawan. So, as I already had a clear idea of what this would look like, I decided to pick it up.

Okay! I'm calling this one "The Escape". I started out with a rough thumbnail in the corner, and some loose, crappy sketches of the main characters. On the left is Kesto N'tarr, a Nagai, and the guy with the guns is Captain Sebastian Muro.

On the next page, I'm playing around with the thumbnails some more, trying to find the angle that I want, tightening up the background a little. I also drew a picture of a blaster, which I wanted to look like a revolver. I think I was actually looking at the dude's gun in Serenity or something.

My newest was submitted last night, but it doesn't appear to be up yet. I thought they went up automatically? I dunno... I don't know anything about this stuff. Anyway, hopefully you'll pop in to tell me what you think.

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone here a Happy New Year. Well, everyone that subscribes to my blog, anyway. I think there's like five of you. Anyway, you five are my personal fav's.

Last night I finally finished that last batch of album artwork. It's good to be done.

It's funny, really. It's something that I really enjoy doing, but by the end of it every time I usually end up feeling pretty burnt out. I think it's probably all the stress of trying to reconcile the time necessary for this kind of thing with my work schedule.

Anyway, maybe I'll post some pictures of the finished art sometime, here in the blog.

I just wanted to post a little preview of some of the new album artwork I'm working on. Let me know what you think. It probably needs to be tightened up, but this is pretty much the finished product. It's going to be a poster insert.

I thought for sure that by now I would have had time to actually create a piece of new Star Wars art. But I haven't. I'm ass deep in album artwork and swimming in deadlines. Procrastination is awesome.

I feel super busy right now, but mostly it's the good kind of busy, there's really no free time in my schedule for "I'm just gonna do nothing today", but it seems like it's filled with things I'm into, such as band practices, and rocking out. And album artwork, so drawing I guess.

Then there's the fourty hours a week I spend stressing out at work. That's not the fun part.
