Peacock not working? Try these solutions

“Reached simultaneous streams limit” error

Peacocktv.com/tv lets you sign in to as many devices as you want and lets you create up to six profiles. But you can only have three simultaneous streams. If three concurrent streams are already running, you will need to close one to watch content on another device. Peacock says that you might have to wait ten minutes after ending a stream for the slot to be open on another device.

Even if you do not have three active streams running, the system might still show you the “reached simultaneous streams limit” error. This happens, particularly if the app or browser crashes while you are watching content. Peacock might still count the stream from before the crash as active even if you restart the app. You will have to wait up to ten minutes for the slot to be available.

Downloading content for offline viewing is not working on Peacock

Peacock.com/tv lets you download movies and TV shows, but many restrictions might make it seem like the service isn’t working. Only Premium Plus subscribers can download content, and the option is only available on supported smartphones and tablets. This includes any device running Android 6.0 or newer and iOS 14 and above.

You can download shows and movies, but only up to 25 total pieces of content across all your devices. Remember that not every show or movie is eligible for download. And those that are can only be downloaded 10 on a single account. Peacock will block an 11th attempted download.

Any content you’ve downloaded and started watching will automatically be removed in 48 hours. If you haven’t started watching it, it will be available for 30 days in the Downloads section. However, videos that are removed from the platform will get deleted even if the 30 days aren’t over. Finally, logging out of your account or uninstalling the app will remove any downloaded content.
