Member since: 2007Well, for some time now I've been checking out the site and with the recent update I decided that perhaps I should try posting my request here. I've been wanting to for a few months, but I've perhaps been too nervous. Here goes.
Background
Even though this character started out as a gambler, he has almost completely left that part of his life and begun a "career" as a force user. He's human and usually wears dark robes. (GM has always described him as looking like a dark sider. An omen?) He has a sense of the dramatics, which is very easy to see in his appearance. Its very easy to see that he is rich, however you want to depict this is probably a better way than mine :P.
Important Traits
Long, dark hair (might not be important in the portrait)
He does not have a lightsaber.
His robes are dark, consisting of black and orange colors. Black is dominant.
He has three dark side points, which I would like the style of the portrait to reflect.
And then there's his mask. He has a mask with the face of a modrol (a huge forest predator. Unfortunately the visual reference to this creature is minimal, but wookiepedia has an entry: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Modrol)

How old is he? ... Does the mask need to be on, or just in his hand?... Does he flaunt that he has money, or just shows it in what he wears?... I'm not an artist, but these are some questions that came to mind to me...

In my mind I've seen him with his mask on for a portrait. The fact that he's rich could also be shown in the setting if any artists have some good ideas for that, but he doesn't exactly throw money all around him when wearing the mask. This character actually has two personalities, one light and one dark. This description was for the dark one, if that was unclear :P.
So basically when he's wearing the mask his style becomes dark and menacing.
He is 22, human, has a strong, but lean build, and has always been described as very attractive.
If any potential artists are more interested in his "unmasked" appearance he is more of the classical noble snob, owning a casino and letting his looks do most of the talking. Imagine the classical renaissance nobleman in a SW setting.
And if anyone is interested in/need a more detailed story of the character, that is of course possible. Just don't want to put too much here, or it might seem annoying to read, especially since my English is not extremely good.

Just a suggestion.. perhaps make him half masked and half not... so you have his dark and light side showing, making the background according to the dark/light side... Just a thought... and it would of course be up to the artist who takes it on...
That's actually a pretty cool idea. Thanks. The only semi-problem with it is that the light personality currently is acting all innocent, being yet another spoiled nobleman's son in the sector, and the dark personality has a bounty on his head (=mask). On the other hand, if an artist out there feels like he/she/it could do something cool with the half-masked idea I definitely say "go for it!" :)

The idea would be a split screen thing... where there would be two different backgrounds as well... That would be the thought anyway :)

does the mask cover his entire face? or does it just cover the lower half; nose and mouth? I like character, sounds pretty cool.
The mask covers the entire face. And thanks :D That character is the only star wars character I've played with for a looong time, so I've had plenty of time to develop his story and demeanor.

His name is Akran Von Armillion, and he is born of noble blood on Coruscant. He was the middle child between an older brother and a younger sister and as a child, he got himself into a lot of trouble. His father always bailed him out, but in the end it was too much. The father, wanting to teach Akran a lesson, decided not to bail him out, just keep the sentence minimal, so Akran spent a few months in prison for thievery and vandalism.
When he got out of jail, instead of learning anything, he found the first and best freighter of the world and left Coruscant for good.

Now, after many adventures involving heavy influence from both the light side and the dark, he has become wiser and often regrets his childhood stupidity. But he feels that if he just returned home his family might see him as a scared little boy still, so he travelled to Tapani to gain fame and glory (and credits) there. It was there he met several individuals that would prove important to him (other group members) and further teach him about life, the Force and comradeship.
After his first meeting with the effects of the force, he found out he was himself sensitive to it and able to manipulate it to some degree. He has trained this skill further, first by himself, later by a non-jedi force-user. He has become truly good, ridden himself from the dark influence and contemplates on going home to his family to be forgiven and to some degree forgive them.

Also his name is Zierkan Toss. After a run-in with a dark sider, who did something to Akran's mind, he started developing the first stages of paranoid schizophrenia that kept getting worse. And all of the sudden it vanished. Akran and his friends believed the light side to be responsible, but in reality the dark side points and the schizophrenia was transferred to another personality. Zierkan Toss is evil, young, cunning, but hasn't yet revealed himself in any way. As Akran contemplates returning home to his family, Zierkan does the same... In order to destroy them for their sins.

Nice! I'm glad to hear you like the idea and I'm very exited about the yoinking :) I have to be honest, when I looked through your gallery it wasn't what I had imagined for a style. But now I'm really looking forward the artwork and almost couldn't imagine any other style fitting him better.
