Member since: 2007Just another quick photomanipulation. I needed another quick image for an NPC in an upcoming session. I've imported the world of Thundera and its inhabitants to my Star Wars galaxy. The players will be making a stop there, and be welcomed into the court of the king. Thundera has so far remained neutral in the Clone Wars, though Count Dooku has been very insistent of late, and has presntly sent emissaries to the court of the King of Thundera to convice him to allow a Separatist base on his world...with veiled threats of a droid invasion should he refuse.
You can imagine what happens to the emmisaries after the king roars 'THIS...IS....THUNDERA!!!'
Of course I could use no other image for the King of the Thundera than King Leonidas of Sparta! :)

I like it....Then I would. Good combo. I wonder how the thunder tank would do against battle droids...would thier dismembered bodies get stuck in the treads?
Awesome blend of the 2! You've got features blended in from both. The Lion-o facial painting on Spartan's face shape and hair cut. Theres also the shaped ears. Nice touch is the goatee, that'd normally look odd-ball for white'ish grey meeting the black jaw-trim. But since theres already established white coloration around the eyes and mouth area, it works. Theres another thing - never imagined Lion-o with a beard or goatee. Sure makes the character look mature, mid 40's to mid 50's imho.
More new SW species is a good thing. So is more felinoid species too, IMHO. Would be nice to see the finished product :)
